President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said that the replacements of Félix Salgado and Raúl Morón, the candidacies for Guerrero and Michoacán, respectively, will not please the electoral authorities either.
At his morning conference, the representative questioned again the decision of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation (TEPJF) to withdraw the candidacy of both characters and called it a “coup to democracy”.
He said that bodies such as the INE have as their mission to “prevent democracy” and that they appear to be at the service of interest groups.

“And those who are going to be the substitute candidates in Michoacán and Guerrero will not like them either, because the purpose is that there is no democracy, there is phobia. These agencies are at the service of conservative power and it is all provocations, we must not fall into them,” he said.
López Obrador assured that he has nothing to do with the designations of the new candidates as it is a decision that belongs only to Morena.

On Wednesday night, Morena’s national leadership reported that she will conduct a fast-track survey containing: Senator and former defenseman Nestora Salgado; Esther Araceli Gómez Ramírez, member of the CEN de Morena and electoral delegate to the entity; María de la Luz Núñez Ramos, former mayor of Atoyac and excandidata of Morena to the government of Michoacán, and the daughter of Félix Salgado, Evelyn Salgado.
The latter was included last minute in the process even though he never previously registered as an applicant for the candidacy.

Without explanation, the CEN left out the survey of the former national native of the PRD, Beatriz Mojica, who on her social networks requested to be considered.
While in the state of Michoacán, the one elected by the National Commission of Elections of Morena to replace Raúl Morón is the licensed deputy, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla.
The now aspiring gubernatura sought to contend for the mayor of Morelia but was sanctioned for the same reason as Raúl Morón: for not delivering reports of pre-camp expenses.
