Undersecretary of Security Takes “Vacation” to Promote Revocation

The federal Undersecretary of Public Security, Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, will leave office for a few days, to promote in Coahuila the revocation of the mandate.
These days that will be taken, government sources told Animal Político, correspond to their “vacations”.
The federal official is originally from the comarca, Lagunera, and during a meeting on Friday night said he had asked for a few days to promote the participation of citizens.

“I asked for permission a few days in my responsibility of the federal government to as a Coahuilense to promote this consultation that is very important for all and for all, really the work that the president has done in this time has been historic, the social programs, eat the infrastructure works, there is no corruption, it is a sensitive government, close to the people, with a very hard-working president who every day begins from the first hour to review the problems of the country,” he announced at a proselytizing meeting in the municipality of Castaños, according to the newspaper Reforma.
The official will focus in the coming days on promoting the revocation of the mandate in a context in which the wave of violence, mainly in some states such as Michoacán, Colima, Zacatecas, Quintana Roo and Chihuahua, has increased.

On March 17, Congress approved a proposal by Morena so that the statements of public officials are not considered official propaganda and, with it, the door is opened for them to speak freely about the Exercise of April 10.
Thus, the statements of the officials would not be considered official propaganda, which would be outside the prohibitions established in the closed season. During this period, governments can only disseminate information on education, health and civil protection, but not promote works, programs or achievements.
