It’s a young man of 21 years whose identity was not reported, and that this was Sunday, August 12 on the shores of Barbâtre in Noirmoutier, enjoying the day with his family.
He got the idea of digging a pit in the sand so deep that it could fit inside it still standing. However, when the tide began to rise around 17:30, the water covered by full pit and the sand at the bottom, turned into mud, did not help her escape.
Witnesses alerted the authorities that, despite sending 13 vehicles, including centers of water rescue of Beauvoir-sur-Mer, Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and Saint-Jean-de-Monts, arrived 2 hours late.
The body of the victim was recovered recently to 20:30, already without vital signs.
