translated from Spanish: Open letter to the leaders mapuche: we live together or we die by separate

heard of Antaeus, son of mother earth, Gea, known to be invincible. Whenever he fell, his mother lifted him more forcefully. I remembered it, by the indomitable of our people; our nuke Mapu (mother earth), we once again always in difficult times.
That see you today, in which each brother and sister who has risen to speak up tight, by the death of our brother Camilo Catrillanca. These voices come from the Academy, work, community, politics, the arts and also Street, where is the anonymous people, who believe in our cause.
Our memory, cannot us forget that we also raise the voice and mobilize, to accompany the suffering caused by the murder of our brother Alex Lemún the Government of Ricardo Lagos in the year 2002, at the hands of police officers; We also mobilized for the death caused by the police, of our brother Matías Catrileo in 2008 and peni Mendoza Collio the year 2009, in the Government of Michelle Bachelet. And today we have to attend the infamous murder of our brother Camilo, under the orders of the cousin of President Piñera.
I have no doubt that the real violence is not poor, peasant or the Mapuche, but of a State that has failed to appreciate the richness of diversity that contains it. Thus, the mapuche people is a victim of all kinds of violence: physical, spiritual, political and economic. Still, I believe that the union and dialogue, are policy responses calling for these times.
But continue lifting only when we kill a brother or sister? Does that continue dying brothers to talk unit? I think that the fact that we gather from all the sectors and territories, does not erode anything self-love that each one defends legitimately. I firmly believe that the union is a need greater than our genuine differences.
I am conscious that we come from different lineages, some come from different political parties or different religions; but one thing if it is safe, none of us is mapuche thanks to itself. We are mapuche as result of centuries-old struggles, in that our ancestors, regardless of their differences, came together to allow us to live today, and that inheritance can not be forgotten.
We are the result of the indomitable Puren, Lautaro Pelantaro WINS and so many and so many whose names have been lost in time, but not in our memory of people, because our grandparents died to give us the immortality of his memory and our existence as mapuche.
It is why, we have a historic debt with our ancestors, that we must settle here and now. No one is more important than another and no one is bigger than our cause, but yes, we are all necessary.
Today we have reached a deplorable situation in which we are just proud of the past, because the present is cause for sadness. All of this is the work of those who manage a State that does not recognize us as a people and has sought systematically to our extermination and the disappearance of our identity.
it was time to stop living off the past. The future depends on us, our hard work, our determination and perseverance. Like our ancestors, we must unite and rebuild the backbone of our nation.
I am a concert that I write in a moment in which hundreds of thousands of mapuche brothers meet in a hard war to end racism, economic delaying and degrading encroachment of territory. I am aware that when our young people have reclaimed ancestral rights, they responded with contempt, violence and death. At a time in which indigenous peoples in Chile lack of civil and political rights.
Because the timing is always one who is elected to change things.
We must meet with a single mission: liberate our Mapuche people of the chains of political segregation and settle, once and for all, the historic debt that is pending. If we choose this goal, should pursue it to the end, because our motivation is not born from nothing, is born of shared experiences that no one has managed to snatch away. Nobody we can interpret better than ourselves. They can repress us for all that we denounce, even kill us, but we will not surrender, because the word “accountability” does not exist in our dictionary.
Will ask, when do get us our rights? Just when our marriage is more powerful than injustice. Because the rights are never the oppressor gifts, they are always the conquest of the oppressed.
