the Agency of security, energy and environment (ASEA) fined 13 million 900 thousand pesos to the SCCA company by the clearing of vegetation in the area where the Government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador It plans to build the refinery Dos Bocas, Paraíso, Tabasco.
In a statement, the ASEA reported that, in addition to the fines, the company will have to establish a program of reforestation of mangrove at 82.8 acres, as well as preservation of flora and fauna.
According to the Agency, the minimum to invest amounts of compensation measures will be determined based on the environmental services that were affected by the activities.

In the event, the Secretariat of energy, Rocío Nahle, assured that the new refinery would increase the production of gasoline and diesel in the country, and that it would generate up to 135 thousand jobs in its stage of construction.
