the sequel is coming?
It’s real life, it is a fantasy. “Bohemian Rhapsody” film went not only to the followers of the band but also to hundreds of people around the world. That impact was reflected in the figures: in just the week of its release, grossed 100 million dollars worldwide.
The story focused on Freddie Mercury could continue, because that could be a sequel in the future. This was stated by Rudi Dolezal, who was in charge of directing some video clips of Queen, and has a close link with the group.
In dialogue with Page Six, gave statements in relation to Jim Beach, the manager of the band: “I am sure that he plans a sequel that begins at Live Aid (..) the idea is being strongly debated”.
The first film, rightly ended in that mythical recital: “We needed to focus on a very specific time period and always wanted to put an end to Live Aid,” said Rami Malek for The Hollywood Reporter.
Let us remember that, while the process spanned drawbacks with the director, the film was hailed by critics and was even crowned at the Oscars in several categories, including “best leading actor” and “best editing”.
