To ride and the Park of the low works adds another that will connect Plaza de Mayo with Puerto Madero, for the first time: it’s a stairway that will function as a bridge between these two sites in Buenos Aires. Construction has already begun and would be ready by mid-May. According to the Ministry of urban development of the city, first there will be a pedestrian path linking Av. La Rábida (located behind the Casa Rosada) with Av. Eng. Huergo, from where you can climb to a structure that will rise above tracks the train and a segment of the same walk the bass.

From there, the staircases – 50 meters wide and 44 steps with 3 breaks – will result in Av. Alicia Moreau de Justo. At its sides, will have ramps for strollers and bicycles and lifts for people with reduced mobility. It will be completed with stainless steel handrail and railings. They will be illuminated with LED lamps. From the City Government, said the work aims to link the historic axis consisting of the National Congress, Casa Rosada and the bridge of women saving the unevenness of 6.5 meters in height between Moreau de Justo y Huergo avenues.
