President Mauricio Macri took advantage of several moments of the opening day of the G20 summit in Osaka to hold dialogues with different Heads of State at the global forum meeting. Those talks included US presidentDonald Trump; of France, Emannuel Macron, and Chile, Sebastián Piñera.Macri and Trump spoke for about 15 minutes and during that time IMF managing director Christine Lagarde approached.
The president also spoke with the prime ministers of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and Australia’s Scott Morrison, and UK Prime Minister Theresa May.

In addition, he maintained contact with the President of South Korea, Moon Jae-in, who invited him to visit his country in March 2020.All these talks were happening informally before the start of the Summit, as well as in different sections of the protracted session held at the Osaka International Convention Center.
