translated from Spanish: Andrés Manuel López Obrador to oversee Michoacán hospitals

Morelia, Michoacán.- The President of the Mexican Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, will oversee five hospitals in Michoacán the following weekend as part of his work tour throughout the country.

“We have to improve the entire health system and we go to the ground, we go to the places where the medical units are, where the hospitals that serve the open population, the poorest people in the country are,” he said.
It will be on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July of this year that López Obrador travels through the hospitals of Villamar, Paracho and Ario de Rosales; Buenavista and Coalcomán.
Roberto Pantoja Arzola, State Delegate of Welfare Programs in the State of Michoacán, stressed that “as the people are never being cared for, especially the humble people, the poor people”, it is therefore the importance of the President of Mexico hearing of people, rightholders and health workers’ concerns first hand.

Below is the timetable for the President’s visit to Michoacán:
Saturday, July 13
– Villamar Rural Hospital.
– Rural Hospital of Paracho de Verduzco.
– Rural Hospital of Ario de Rosales.
Sunday, July 15
