Morelia, Michoacán.- In a statement the Government of Morelia reported that it started this Sunday with the process of rehabilitation of Avenida Cointzio, in what will be the solution to one of the most felt needs of society in terms of mobility, with an investment more than six million pesos.
As part of his strategy to empower people and make them part of the decision-making of his administration, the municipal president, Raúl Morón Orozco, instructed the intervention of the Secretariat of Urbanism and Public Works, to recover the aforementioned street.
The savings generated by the City Council, have allowed a greater capacity for action in the implementation of social programs and execution of public works, as is the case of Avenida Cointzio, which represents one of the most important alternative routes to the west of the municipality.
The work that started this Sunday, will consist, in a first stage, in the recovery of four sections of the avenue, considered the most injured, to subsequently carry out the re-enfolder in its entirety, with an investment of six million eight hundred thousand pesos.
