Navolato, Sinaloa.- The municipal president of Navolato, Eliazar Gutiérrez Angulo and the members of Cabildo unanimously approved unanimously the call for the plebiscite of municipal trustees and commissioners, which will take place on March 29, for the period from April 01, 2020 to March 31, 2023. José Carlos Trujillo García, president of the Governing Commission in Cabildo, stated that the preparation of the call was done in a transparent and as open manner as possible to facilitate the all citizens who want to participate in this citizen consultation, including women.
The building Navolatense expressed that the municipal representative Eliazar Gutiérrez had no intervention in the process of drawing up the call, and in this way make clear so that there is no doubt as to the content of the bases and the rules that will be used in the selection of candidates and the development of the popular consultation.

By unanimous agreement, the members of Cabildo approved during this ordinary session 54/20, some modifications to the requirements contained in the call, with the aim of facilitating the participation of citizens interested in competing in the election of representatives of the unions and police stations of the municipality. The requirements that were modified were the removal of the no criminal record letter for candidates, as well as a reduction of the supporting signatures to be submitted during registration; for the aspiring unions of General Angel Flores and Benito Juárez will have to present 100 support of citizens, while in the rest of the unions of the municipality, will be 50 signatures.
