Culiacan, Sinaloa.- The deputies to teachers in section 53 of the SNTE, began to disperse yesterday afternoon, after, those belonging to the Somos movement more than 53, protested in the premises of the Government Palace and blocked the accesses to Bureaucrats. Theoyo Castro, spokesman for the movement, stated that the commitment to release payments had been made during the protest and hours later, the movement issued a statement confirming that the deeds were already paid.
These payments correspond to a 5 per cent discount on teachers’ wages, to have access to housing through Isssteesin.However, these resources had had a different destination, a situation that was clarified by the Audit Superior of the State through an audit process carried out in 2017.As a result, teachers filed a series of lawsuits in the judicial field, which were won, however, the State Government had not released the payments, yet when the Legislative Power reallocated around 20 million pesos in the 2019 and 2020 Egress Budget.
