San Luis Potosí.- The Secretary of Health of San Luis Potosí, Monica Rangel Martínez, reported on Thursday the second death by Covid-19 in the entity. This is one of 19 confirmed cases of contagion in San Luis Potosí.
The Mexican Social Security Institute notified the State Health Authorities of the death of a 57-year-old male patient. The patient was at Zone 50 General Hospital in the capital. It had a picture of viral pneumonia, in addition to chronic diseases of diabetes and hypertension. On 25 March, the first death was recorded in the state due to Covid-19 disease. A 70-year-old man lost his life due to the picture of pneumonia and concomitant diseases he had such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, grade one obesity and smoking history.
