Federal health authorities reported on Sunday about 46 new deaths from COVID-19, to have a total of 1,351 deaths since the first case was detected in Mexico, two months ago.
As for confirmed cases, there are 14,677 since the start of the pandemic in the country. 7,612 are still suspect, waiting for confirmation.
4,972 had onset of symptoms in the last 14 days, which are considered active cases.
On Saturday the report was 13,842 confirmed cases and 1,305 deaths.
In the IRAG system, in terms of critical patient beds and with a fan available, It was reported that Mexico City had 28% occupancy of that type of beds and Baja California 31%, the two states with the highest levels.
Undersecretary for Health Prevention and Promotion Hugo Lopez-Gatell insisted on calling for people to reduce mobility on the street to reduce the amount of contagion.
In Zacatecas, for example, health authorities mentioned that only the mobility of people on the street has been reduced by 16%.
