Established in 2015, 4 September celebrates National Wine Day as a way to recognize its historical importance to the country, and to remember its economic and cultural contribution, in addition to its place as Chile’s ambassador to the world. Why the date? Because from that date dates the request made by Pedro de Valdivia to Emperor Charles V in 1545, when in a letter he asked him for “vines and wines to evangelize Chile”, and described to him the goodness of the new land conquered.
Large brands, boutique vineyards and small producers are offering various experiences, such as online tastings, special promotions, discounted tours, among others, accompanied by digital content about our wine.
