Health authorities reported 816 more deaths from COVID, surpassing Mexico’s 120,000 deaths from coronavirus.
This Wednesday came to 120 thousand 311 deaths.
In addition, 11,653 new positive cases have been added, reaching 1 million,350 thousand 79 cases since the pandemic began.
According to the Ministry of Health, there are 87,935 active cases, these are those that have had symptoms in the last 15 days and that keep the pandemic active.
According to Health, the maximum occupancy that had been recorded at the first peak of the pandemic that was 18 thousand 223 hospitalized has already been reached; until december 22, 18,301 thousand were hospitalized, or 0.4% more.
Mexico City and the State of Mexico are the entities with the highest hospital occupation with 85% and 78%, respectively.
It is followed by Baja California with 69% and Guanajuato with 67%.
It was also reported that so far 1 million 5 thousand 248 people have been recovered.
