The Morelos government announced that the entity will return to the red light in the face of increased contagions and hospitalizations.
Governor Cuauhtémoc Blanco reported on Wednesday that the measure will apply from 24 December to 10 January, provided that indicators permit.
The official reported that non-essential activities will be suspended from tomorrow.
“This measure is very difficult but necessary. I am grateful for the solidarity support of all sectors of society. Today more than ever, Morelos needs our unity and a greater degree of responsibility on the part of everyone to return to everyday life,” the official wrote on his social media.

Morelos has confirmed 9,38 cases of COVID-19 and a thousand,576 deaths have been reported in the entity.
Mexico City, the State of Mexico and Baja California are also at red light.
24 entities in the country will end the year with the high risk level of COVID-19, the orange color, of the epidemiological traffic light announced by health authorities.
