United States. – The Tiger Woods team reported that the golfer left on Tuesday night of the surgeries, after the heavy car accident he suffered in the morning of the same day. The operation was to restore multiple fractures in his legs and repair one of his ankles.
“As previously reported, Tiger was involved in an accident Tuesday morning in California. He has undergone a long surgical procedure on the lower right leg and ankle after being taken to hospital,” the social media release says.

“Woods suffered significant orthopedic lesions on the lower right limb that were treated during emergency surgery by orthopedic trauma specialists at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, a level one trauma center,” said Dr. Anish Mahajan, medical director and acting executive director at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
