The Ministry of Health of the Nation published this Sunday the daily report of the covid-19 situation in Argentina and confirmed 3,697 new positive cases of the disease and reported that in the last 24 hours there were 24 deaths from coronavirus.

With these figures, the total number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic is 2,195,722 of which 155,149 are active cases and 1,986,903 are recovered patients. The health portfolio reported that the total number of deaths since the outbreak began is 53,670. In turn, it reported that 26,221 were carried out on the day and that the total number of tests since the start of the pandemic was 7,998,673.
Regarding the Vaccination Plan, the certera led by Carla Vizzotti reported that the total dose applications of the coronavirus vaccine are 2,394,800. Of that number, those vaccinated with 1 dose are 1,944,710, while those vaccinated with 2 doses are 450,090.For their part, patients confirmed with Covid-19 admitted to the Intensive Therapy Unit (ICU) are 3479, representing a total percentage of adult ICU bed occupancy of 54.2% in Nation and 59.4% in AMBA, both in the public and private sectors.
