Morelia, Michoacán.- “Although many intend, unfoundedly, to stop this fight, it will no longer stop. Raúl Morón will be the next governor of Michoacán and 4T will reach the state,” said licensed federal legislator Iván Pérez Negrón Ruiz.
This, following today’s press conference with members, mayors, federal legislators, locals and contenders of the National Regeneration Movement (MORENA) and the Labour Party (PT), where he ensured that if necessary, in addition to the courts, the people of Mexico and Michoacán will take to the streets to defend our democracy.
Morena’s contender for the mayoral candidate of the state capital, claimed to be calm and vigilant that the law be complied with, because with Raúl Morón Orozco as governor, the 4T will arrive in Michoacán and be consolidated in Morelia.
“This situation we are experiencing is nothing new, so those who have decided to become accomplices and allies of what people rejected in 2018, must know that this day, consolidates the full commitment of a movement and a struggle that is not going to stop,” he emphasized.
In this sense, he assured that in Michoacán, Raúl Morón will be a candidate and governor; he therefore urged his coalition partners, MORENA and PT, not to be afraid of the right and to stand together, “since unity is our strength.”
“Let us not be met, to be hindered. All and all the winning candidates in the different states of the country, in the different regions, we will have the registration and we will win in 2021. In my particular case, the INE has been so aberrant and has shown its intention to try to derail our project, which included me in a list of applicants for the federal council, a totally false issue, because I did not even register for that call. They want to attack us, because we go upstairs and the opponents are desperate, but neither Raul Morón nor me will be stopped,” he concluded.
