Michoacán.- Ignacio Campos Equihua, candidate for the mayor of Uruapan, met with members of the National Chamber of Commerce of this municipality (Canaco), whom he recognized as the main engine of the economy in the municipality, reported in a statement.
Nacho Campos noted that the business sector generates more than 80 thousand formal jobs in the region; from what he said, it will be important to join forces with this sector, organized civil society and the municipal government, to generate better conditions for the municipality.

“Another factor in building better living conditions for most will be losing weight on the municipal payroll; because of every weight that comes to us on budget, 80 cents is spent on wages. That’s why there’s no money for utilities.”
Finally, Campos Equihua indicated that it is his obligation to serve everyone equally, so he heard the main demands of this sector, which were to have greater security, citizen participation, transparency in the management of public resources and freedom of transit, factors that affect the performance of this sector.
