Interior Minister Rodrigo Delgado defended the idea of a “mobility pass” for people with both doses of covid vaccines, a move announced this Sunday by President Piñera.

“It’s not that we’re giving everyone a freedom with this pass, but it’s just the groups that are behaving more responsible today, plus the second doses with 14 days, it seems that starting with that discussion is pretty reasonable.”
The measure was criticized from medical college, where they said they did not back it up and warned of delivering a “contradictory” message to citizens.
“The time comes when we have to start looking for balances for people who have their vaccinations,” said Delgado, who added that “people have to feel what the effort is too, and the prize is to have certain mobilitys when they are with their two doses.”
