Mexico. – In Cancun, Quintana Roo, a young man who had the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) was tortured, burned and killed, was informed by various groups of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender, Transvestite and Intersex (LGBTTTIQA+) community in a statement.
“In the face of the growing violence against LGBTTTIQA+ people in Quintana Roo, once again, LGBT+ organizations and collectives raise their voices to demand justice. On Saturday, June 5, 2021, a young gay man in the city of Cancun, municipality of Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, was tortured, burned and killed for his HIV status, “LGBTTTIQA+ community groups.
Although no details have been given about the crime that occurred in Cancun, it is known that the young man organized a party attended by several people. One of his guests was his sexual partner.

The victim informed his companion that he was HIV-positive, so he exploded in furious and attacked him.
When the young man’s father arrived home, he found the body of his son, so he proceeded to file the complaint with the competent authorities.
