Culiacan.- FINALLY! It was the reaction of thousands in Culiacan, Sinaloa to hear the thundering sky, see the powerful lightning and then notice the heavy rain that just a few hours earlier the authorities promised when they bombarded the clouds. Around 20:00 hours the first rains were reported in the southern sector of the Sinaloan capital, however, it was past 21:30 when Tlaloc unleashed his fury on the entire city.

This Friday Sinaloa had the right conditions to start the stimulation of rains, through the distribution of chemicals by the National Air Force. The aim is to increase the likelihood of precipitation in the season listed by NASA as one of the most drought-singing in history. The director general of the National Commission of Arid Zones (CONAZA), Ramon Sandoval Noriega, explained that Silver Iodide will be spread to increase the volume of water between 20 and 40 percent.
