The Board of Directors declares that the Chamber of Deputies formally established the Jury of Origin to resolve the immunity against deputies Benjamín Saúl Huerta Corona, denounced for sexual abuse and rape, and Mauricio Alonso Toledo, accused of illicit enrichment.
The legislators will first address the case of Huerta Corona, who on April 21 was arrested for sexual abuse of a minor and released hours later thanks to the idol as a legislator.

Laura Angelina Borbolla Moreno, general coordinator of investigation of gender crimes and attention to victims of the Capital Prosecutor’s Office, says she has “solid evidence” against the deputy such as interviews and expert opinions to request the origin of the immunity.
Pavel Arenas Landgrave, defense attorney for Saul Huerta, who did not attend the session, also participates in this stage of pleadings, rebuttals and counterreplications.
