In a statement, he explained that the location of the eight graves located in a rustic property in the community of Juluapan occurred after the arrest of two people, a man and a woman.
These two people were arrested on August 7, after a police chase on the Villa de Álvarez – Minatitlan highway, when their vehicle overturned while fleeing.

“As a result of the inspection of the vehicle, the investigating officers located a rifle-type firearm, a pistol-type firearm, two magazines with seven and 30 rounds respectively; as well as metal handcuffs and two ziploc bags containing granulated material inside.”
After that arrest, lines of investigation by agents of the Prosecutor’s Office led to the location of the eight graves where a vehicle was also found, 17 shell casings, among other indications.

During the exhumation work, agents and specialized experts collected 16 evidences for the collection of genetic profile samples, which together with the exhumed bodies were taken to the laboratories of Expert Services and Forensic Sciences of the FGE for analysis and scientific studies; as well as the DNA identification confrontation.
The Prosecutor’s Office indicated that the exhumation work that lasted three days involved the participation of the groups of disappeared persons in the entity; as well as for perimeter security and custody, elements of the Municipal Police, State Police and National Guard contributed.
In July, the Interior Secretariat reported one thousand 749 clandestine graves located during the current administration.
The municipality with the most clandestine graves found is Tecomán, Colima. He is followed by Úrsulo Galván, Veracruz; and Acapulco, Guerrero.
