The long-awaited Argentine crime drama with acid humor “Entre hombres” confirmed its premiere date for HBO Max. Temporarily set during the ’90s in the country, the story will develop what happens to the protagonists who will be transformed from a crime. Argentina 1996, southern part of the Buenos Aires suburbs. “While a part of Buenos Aires ate pizza with champagne, in other parts of the province, marginalization and crime were on the rise,” the synopsis states.
“The plot revolves around a party full of sex and drugs in which a crime is committed, which compromises all the guests. On the way to erase all traces of evidence, the protagonists will be pierced by revenge, blood and illegality,” he continues.
Nicolás Furtado and Claudio Rissi star in this original HBO miniseries Max, a duo that returns after the success still in force and waiting for their fourth fear of “El Marginal”, accompanied by Diego Cremonesi (who also showed off in the second season of the aforementioned fiction), Diego Velázquez (“Wild Stories”, “Post Mortem”), Gabriel “Puma” Goity.

Based on the homonymous novel by Germán Maggiori, “Entre hombres” is directed by Pablo Fendrik with a script by Maggiori himself, in collaboration with Fendrik. It was the first production from Latin America to be screened by the Berlin Film Festival, in the Berlinale Series 2021 section. And it arrives this September 26 to HBO Max.
