Anya Taylor-Joy is one of the most acclaimed international actresses of the moment. “I have an American passport, a British passport and residence in Argentina, which makes me very happy because I would like to live in Argentina again, so that’s good,” said the girl who was born on April 16, 1996 in the city of Miami but lived here until she was six years old. In addition, much of the actress’ family resides in the country as she is the daughter of a Spanish-English mother and a Scottish-Argentine father. In May of this year, the protagonist of Gambit of Lady hosted the last episode of the Saturday Night Live season and opened the show applying her perfect Spanish.
“You may be surprised that I was born in Miami and grew up between Argentina and London. It would mean a lot to me to start this program in my native language,” he told the audience in English. Then, he spoke in Spanish: “We have an incredible show for you, Lil Nas X is here so please don’t go anywhere.”
