According to the version of the authorities, the confrontation occurred after an aggression towards elements of the State Police, when they were carrying out a supervision and surveillance tour in a gap in the direction of the Anahuac-Colombia Highway, around 3:15 p.m. on September 16.
After repelling the attack, the uniformed received support from elements of the Army, “who when carrying out reconnaissance in their search gave reach to a group of the aggressors, who upon feeling the presence of the forces of order confronted them and were killed,” the statement details.
