They premiere the trailer of “The Beatles: Get Back”, a documentary series about their latest show

Disney+ today released the trailer for the original three-part documentary “The Beatles: Get Back” that premieres exclusively on November 25, 26 and 27 on the platform. The series, original Disney+, is directed by Peter Jackson and was entirely made from unpublished films with the most intimate and honest look at the creative process and the relationship between John, Paul, George and Ringo ever documented.

Jackson, winner of three Oscars for trilogy of “The Lord of the Rings” and “They Will Never Get Old,” directs this documentary series that transports audiences to the band’s recording sessions in 1969, which became a turning point in music history. The docuseries showcase The Beatles’ creative process as they attempt to write 14 new songs and prepare for their first live concert after more than two years. Faced with an almost impossible deadline, the strong bond of friendship shared by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr is put to the test.

The Original Documentary is based on almost 60 hours of never-before-seen footage, shot over 21 days under the direction of Michael Lindsay-Hogg in 1969 and more than 150 hours of unreleased audio, most of which was stored in a vault for more than half a century. Jackson is the only person in 50 years who accessed this “treasure” of The Beatles, and recovered it brilliantly. The end result is an incredibly intimate portrait of Los Bealtes where you can see how, in a moment when they are between a rock and a hard place, they can still rely on their friendship, good humor and creative wit. As their plans are delayed and their friendship is put to the test, they compose and play some of the world’s most iconic songs.

The documentary series presents, for the first time, the last live performance of The Beatles complete: the unforgettable rooftop concert of Savile Row in London, as well as other classic songs and compositions from the band’s last two albums, Abbey Road and Let It Be.
Presented by The Walt Disney Studios alongside Apple Corps Ltd. and WingNut Films Productions Ltd”The Beatles: Get Back” is produced by Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon, Olivia Harrison, Peter Jackson, among other industry celebrities.
