The governor of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuellar, reported that she tested positive for COVID-19, but that her health condition is “stable.”
In his Twitter account, he said that during his absence the Secretary of Government of the entity, Sergio González, will represent it in government functions.
He added that she will remain vigilant at all times of government affairs.
“I want to inform you that I have tested positive for COVID19. My state of health is stable and I find myself looking forward to being recovered to continue working for this new history for Tlaxcala.” Wrote.
During my absence, The Secretary of Government Sergio González will represent me in my governmental functions. I will keep an eye on the affairs of the government at all times.

Until yesterday, Tlaxcala reported 27 thousand 58 cases of COVID in the state since the pandemic began, as well as two thousand 851 deaths.
This morning, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador confirmed that in the country there is an increase in COVID-19 infections due to the variant of ómicron; however, he said hospitalizations and deaths did not increase.
