Mexico has 43,523 cases of COVID; there is a slight increase in hospitalizations

On the last day, the federal Ministry of Health reported 43,523 cases of COVID, for a total of 4,257,776 infections since the beginning of the epidemic.

According to the agency, the number of infections has increased 206% in the last week. There are an estimated 257,283 active cases (5.7%).
The entities with the highest incidence rate of active cases are Baja California Sur, Mexico City, San Luis Potosí, Quintana Roo and Zacatecas.

The number of deaths from the disease reached 300,912, with 148 new ones registered. To these are added 13 thousand 685 classified as suspicious.
In the COVID technical report, the Ministry of Health reported that the occupation of general beds nationwide increased 2% in the last day, going to 26%. That of beds with a fan increased by 1%, and currently stands at 16%.

This Thursday, 917,880 were applied, for a total of 153,673,555 supplied so far.
Health reported 82 million 626 thousand 877 people who have received at least one vaccine against coronavirus, equivalent to 88% of the population over 18 years old: 74 million 761 thousand 824 have a complete scheme (91%), and 7 million 865 thousand 53 only with the first dose (9%).
