71.3% of the population between 3 and 17 years old has completed their vaccination schedule

The Ministry of Health reported that, with a cut-off date yesterday, Thursday, January 13, according to data from the Department of Statistics and Health Information, 45,551,882 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in the country. For the target population of 15,200,840, which considers people aged 18 years and over, 13,755,010 first doses, 13,476,588 second doses, and 573,897 single doses have been applied. Of this segment of the population, 94.26% (14,328,907) have received a single and first dose, and 92.4% (14,050,485) have completed their vaccination schedule against SARS-CoV-2, with a single and second dose. During the day of Thursday, January 13, of the target group of 18 years and over, 39,095 people were immunized, of which 5 were vaccinated with a single dose, 2,162 with the first dose and 2,780 with a second dose, 30,960 with a booster dose and 3,188 with a fourth dose. As for the booster doses applied in the population over 3 years of age in the country, a total of 11,909,431 are reached. Yesterday, 35,944 doses were administered, of which 30,960 correspond to people aged 18 years and over, and 4,984 between 3 and 17 years. With regard to the vaccination of children and adolescents between 3 and 17 years of age, which includes a total of 3,771,960 people, 6,231,758 doses of vaccines have been administered in the country, where 82.97% of the population has been vaccinated with the first dose and 71.3% with the second dose. Meanwhile, in the school group, between 6 and 11 years old, 2,550,689 vaccines administered are registered.
