Mexico reports 47,113 COVID cases, the highest number in one day

The Ministry of Health detected 47,113 recent cases of COVID-19, the highest figure released by the authorities in one day, since the beginning of the pandemic.
With this figure, Mexico surpasses the record figure of yesterday, when 44,293 cases were reported. It also threads four consecutive with more than 40 thousand cases in 24 hours.

So far, there are 4 million 349 thousand 182 cases since the beginning of the epidemic, however, it is estimated that 314 thousand 422 (6.8%) are active cases for presenting symptoms in recent days.
According to the daily technical report, 227 more deaths from COVID were confirmed, so there are at least 301,334 officially recognized deaths.

As for the progress of vaccination, 764 thousand 070 vaccines were applied, for a total of 155 million 420 thousand 338.
The doses correspond to 82 million 815 thousand 740 immunized people, 88% of the adult population in Mexico; 92% of them have a complete scheme.
