Ranking of mortgage loans of January 2022: beginning of the year “shows a new rise in the final cost for the client”

How did mortgage loans start the year? That is what the first monthly newsletter of “My Best Rate” -www.mimejortasa.cl- of January 2022 analyzes.
“After a 2021 marked by uncertainty and the rise in rates, the outlook of the mortgage credit market for the beginning of this 2022 shows a new rise in the final cost for the client,” says the report.
As usual, two exercises are carried out: in the credit of 3,000 UF, 20% foot, 20 years, the final cost for the client reached in January 2022 an average of UF + 6.13% per year. The average monthly dividend is UF 16.81 ($524,010). In Dec 2020, the same was UF14.09 ($409,503). This means that the monthly dividend in pesos increased $114,506, that is, 28% in 13 months.
In the credit exercise of 6,000 UF, 20% foot, 20 years, the final cost to the customer reached in January 2022 an average of UF + 5.99% per year. The average monthly dividend is UF 16.81 ($1,040,796). In Dec 2020, the same was UF 27.97 ($813,218). This means that the monthly dividend in pesos increased $227,578, that is, 28% in 13 months.
