Armed group kills 7 people in Zamora, Michoacán

Seven people, three men and four women, died after an armed attack on a home in the El Porvenir neighborhood of Zamora, in Michoacán, the state prosecutor’s office said.
The events were recorded on Thursday night at an address located on Michoacán and Montes De Oca streets.
A group of armed men parked in front of the building, entered by force, unloaded their weapons against those who were in the place and, after the shooting, left the home, Quadratín reported.

After receiving the report of the assault, personnel from the Expert Services and Crime Scene Unit (USPEC) moved to the site to carry out the first investigations.

The agency reported, in a statement, that so far the victims have not been identified and their bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service to perform the necropsy of law.

The state prosecutor’s office initiated the investigation folder for the facts; while in the place actions are carried out in expert matters to obtain evidence to clarify the aggression.
