Mendoza: A 5-year-old boy was killed in an attack on a house

The episode took place around 23:45 on Saturday when the 5-year-old boy was sitting at the door of his house, located inside the Pedro Molina 4 neighborhood.At a certain moment, two men who were passing by began to shoot at the front of the house and one of the bullets hit the child in the chest, identified as Thiago Nicolas Melchor.Melchor was transferred to the guard of the Humberto Notti Hospital in Guaymallén, where he was examined by the doctor on duty, who confirmed the death due to “a gunshot wound in the chest at the height of the heart with an entrance hole”.
After the fact, the attackers escaped from the place, but a short time later, one of the alleged attackers was arrested by the Mendoza Police while moving aboard a red Ford Eco Sport truck, it should be noted that the suspect was pointed out by the father of the victim.
Police spokesmen indicated that it is Mario Enrique Flores, a 23-year-old man nicknamed “El Champol”, who as reported by Noticias Argentinas has a leafy criminal record. Investigators suspect that it may have been a personal revenge against the father of the child, within the framework of a plot of infidelity or a love relationship. In that sense, flores’ former partner would be starting a love affair with the father of the murdered minor.
