Brazil to send two planes to Ukraine to evacuate citizens

In its Twitter account, the FAB said that “the aircraft are of the same model used in other international humanitarian missions, such as transporting donations for the victims of the attack in Beirut (Lebanon) in 2020 and emergency support for the earthquake in Haiti in 2021.” The Brazilian Air Force (FAB), under the direction of the Ministry of Defense and the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE), put on hold two KC-390 Millennium aircraft for the possible transport of Brazilians evacuated from Ukraine.”

Nor was it specified the place where the two military aircraft will be ready to go into action with the rescue mission. Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay, Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia and Ecuador agreed on a joint plan to rescue Latin Americans who remained in Ukraine.
For his part, Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Holguín also reported through Twitter that his country is preparing its first evacuation flight for Monday.

I want to inform you that we have confirmed the first humanitarian flight for Ecuadorian citizens from Poland, for Monday. We make contact with students and parents for your organization. — Juan Carlos Holguin (@juancaholguin)
