An alleged call between the Attorney General of the Republic, Alejandro Gertz, and a specialized control prosecutor revealed that the head of the FGR agreed to the project of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) that would seek to release Alejandra Guadalupe Cuevas Morán, accused of the murder of Federico Gertz Manero, brother of the public servant.
Asked about it, the FGR did not deny the content of the call and said it will investigate the leak.
In the call, Gertz Manero tells Juan Ramos López, a prosecutor specializing in Competition Control, that Minister Alberto Pérez Dayán’s project practically frees Cuevas.
“He is putting the cake on the magistrate of Mexico City for him to release, he did not put any protection on the victim,” the prosecutor complains in the audio.
Reading an extract from the document, Gertz assures that the project grants amparo to Alejandra Cuevas with the effect of ordering a new resolution by the fourth criminal chamber of the capital’s Judicial Power, which must correct the formal deficiencies of the case.

FGR says it will investigate wiretapping
On these facts, the FGR informed Animal Político that an investigation folder will be formally initiated for the illegal interception of communications between the Attorney General and the Prosecutor of Competition Control. This to find those likely responsible for this fact.
And about the project referred to in the call, the FGR indicated that the prosecutor had access to it because it was publicly leaked.
On these same facts, the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation indicated that the project was not a public document, but that at the moment no greater position can be given.
It should be noted that the content of the call was broadcast on a YouTube channel created yesterday, March 3, under the name of “Psychoanalysis”. And so far five versions of the same call have been published on that channel.

The project referred to in the call between Gertz and Ramos is related to the amparos in review issued by a federal judge in which it was determined that the processes against Lausa Moran and Alejandra Cyevas must be invalidated because they were built from irregular bases and violations of the constitution.
We regret that Gertz, the opposing party, in violation of the principle of fairness, has advantageously obtained a draft judgment from the @SCJN.
