There are 283 complaints related to the consultation of revocation of mandate

The National Electoral Institute (INE) has received 283 complaints related to the development of the consultation to revoke the mandate of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, which will take place this Sunday, April 10.
This was reported on Saturday by the director of the Technical Unit of Electoral Litigation of the INE, Carlos Alberto Ferrer, during a press conference in which officials of the autonomous body gave details about what is expected for tomorrow.
Of the total number of complaints received, the majority correspond to illegal dissemination of the recall consultation – a task for which only the INE is empowered – to possible government propaganda carried out during the ban for the exercise and improper intervention of political parties.

Based on these complaints, the INE has issued 26 precautionary measures. The most recent came yesterday, when the institute’s Complaints and Complaints Commission ordered 18 local and federal public officials to adhere to the law and, in some cases, delete social media posts that violate the rules.
Among the officials involved are Mexico City’s head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum; its Secretary of Government, Martí Batres; the director of the Capital’s Sports Institute, Javier Hidalgo, and the national leader of Morena, Mario Delgado, who participated in a rally at the Monument to the Revolution, last Wednesday.

Ferrer said Saturday that the INE only applies current legislation and that there are political actors who “despise its compliance.”
“The determinations of the National Electoral Institute in the field of electoral litigation have been supported, validated, by the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Power of the Federation,” he said, after some of the officials targeted by precautionary measures have accused the INE of “censoring” them.
Some of the complainers are Claudia Sheinbaum and Javier Hidalgo.

I learn from the press that @lorenzocordovav and @CiroMurayamaINE of the @INEMexico intend to censor me. It should be reported that I attended this event in my capacity as a citizen outside my working hours and in full exercise of my constitutional rights. pic.twitter.com/rTO7DDy8iC

During the press conference, moderated by the INE’s Coordinator of Social Communication, Rubén Álvarez, officials of the institute also insisted that if fewer polling stations were installed than originally planned — a constant claim of President López Obrador and his party, Morena — it was because the Chamber of Deputies approved to the electoral arbitrator a budget lower than he requested.
Likewise, they recalled that the results of the quick count of the revocation consultation will be announced tomorrow between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
