Ukraine says it killed 20,000 Russian soldiers

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said today that, so far, there are 19,900 Russian soldiers who lost their lives since the invasion of the country began on February 24. These data were released in a publication disseminated through the social network Facebook. They also explained that they destroyed 753 tanks, 1,968 armored vehicles, 366 artillery systems, 160 aircraft, 144 helicopters, 7 ships and 76 fuel tanks, among other losses. In this regard, Europa Press reported that the Russian Defense Ministry wiped out 800 Ukrainian military installations, including 550 “meeting places” of the Army. For his part, the spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov, detailed the consequences that the confrontation is leaving.

So far, Russia has destroyed two command posts, two multi-launch rocket system positions, an artillery battery, six missile depots and 48 locations where Ukrainian military equipment was concentrated. In addition, he highlighted the destruction of 235 Ukrainian planes and helicopters, 2,179 tanks and other armored vehicles, 248 multiple rocket launchers and 2,088 special military vehicles, according to data collected by the Russian news agency Interfax.
