A 21-year-old girl died when a car overturned in Córdoba

A 21-year-old woman died sunday morning after overturning a car in which seven people were traveling on a route in Cordoba, near the town of Mi Granja, police sources in the province said. The incident happened at 8 o’clock, at kilometer 19 of provincial route No. 88, in the department of Colón, when the vehicle in which seven young people (four men and three women) were driving stumbled several times, for reasons that have not yet been established. The other passengers of the vehicle were transferred with different injuries to different hospitals in the area and so far remain under observation, while the fatal victim died at the scene of the accident, according to members of the emergency service. So far this weekend, a total of five people have died from accidents in the province. On Saturday, a 25-year-old woman died near the town of Porteña, when the car she was driving hit a tree, while on Friday a 21-year-old motorcyclist lost her life when she hit a truck with her motorcycle. Also, on Friday, a 33-year-old man died in an accident that occurred in Isla Verde, Marcos Juárez department, when the vehicle he was driving collided with agricultural machinery. On Thursday, a man was killed and six people were injured after a head-on collision at kilometer 690 of Route 35, near Holmberg when a car and a pickup truck collided, and where Eduardo Gustavo Pizarro (48) died.
