Missions: Two young men arrested for the murder of a retiree

Two young men of 24 and 25 years were arrested today as accused of assaulting and beating to death an 86-year-old man at his home in the town of San Pedro, in the province of Misiones.Those arrested are suspected of the crime of Ramón Sosa, which occurred last Friday in the house he shared with his son on Juan Bautista Alberdi Street, in the Cristo Resucitado neighborhood, in that town. Those arrested turned out to be a young man nicknamed “Neno”, 24 years old and about whom suspicions were strongest, and another known as “Nando”. Sosa’s body was found around 12:30 that day inside his home, with blows and cuts, most of them on the head. Once the local police arrived at the scene, the doctor determined that the man had suffered head trauma with blunt cutting wound and sinking. The victim’s son, a man in his 40s, told police that the house was missing a carafe, a hammer and other items. The agents involved in the case carried out rakes in the area and managed to find a hammer with blood stains on pastures on the land of a neighbor to Sosa’s house.In addition, a cell phone and a couple of borceguíes were found, according to the information disseminated by the misionesonline site.Both the detainees and the kidnapped elements were made available to the investigating judge Ariel Omar Belda Palomar.
