vaccination for children under 12 and up will begin on Thursday

Vaccination against COVID-19 for children under 12 and older will begin in Mexico City on Thursday, May 19, the head of the capital’s government, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced on Friday.
“Thursday of next week begins now,” the president said at a press conference, after a public event at the Tlalpan mayor’s office.
Details on the locations where the doses will be applied and other aspects of the process will be released next Monday. 

This information will be provided by the director of Digital Government of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation (ADIP), Eduardo Clark, and the Secretary of Health, Oliva López Arellano.
Sheinbaum said information on vaccination for children under the age of 12 is still pending.
Meanwhile, the application of doses for other lagging sectors of the population is expected to resume.
