Gunmen set fire to vehicles and fire shots in Chilpancingo

In a synchronized manner, groups of armed men set fire to vehicles, burned a house and set up shootings in different parts of Chilpancingo, the capital of Guerrero, during the early hours of Tuesday.
According to reports, between the José López Portillo and San Juan neighborhoods, on the north south side of Vicente Guerrero Boulevard, armed men set fire to a bus belonging to a private company.
In the Universal neighborhood, south of this capital, other men set fire to a van of a courier company.

Another armed group attacked a house in the San Lucas neighborhood, and there were shootings in other parts of this city.
During these various acts of violence in which several vans with armed men took to the streets, no victims were registered.
In her Facebook account, the mayor of Chilpancingo, Norma Otilia Hernández Martínez, regretted these facts and assured that she asked the federal and state governments to reinforce security in the streets of this capital of the entity.

Until 9:00 in the morning, the government headed by the Morenoite Evelyn Salgado Pineda and the state attorney general, Sandra Luz Salmerón Valdovinos, had reported on what happened in the streets of this capital during the early hours of this Tuesday.
According to preliminary information, these acts were carried out by a criminal group that has control of the capital of Guerrero and were due to the fact that on Monday three alleged extortionists were arrested, including an agent of the Ministerial Police.
The three detainees belong to the ranks of this organization, which has its center of operations in the Sierra.
