Alberto Fernández on the medical cannabis law: “it is another triumph against hypocrisy”

The President held an event in the Women’s Hall of Government House to present the enactment of the Law on Medicinal Cannabis and Industrial Hemp. The president said that “it is a step in access to the right to health” and in turn “another triumph of society against hypocrisy.” Alberto Fernández together with the Minister of Productive Development, Matías Kulfas, and the founder of Mamá Cultiva Argentina, Valeria Salech, presented the promulgation during the ceremony at the Casa Rosada. The President pondered that, despite the prejudices, the law will allow “to help solve the health of many people who need it and who proved that these medicines serve them and make their lives more bearable.”
