The diesel crisis is worsening and the lack of fuel already affects 23 districts. According to the latest survey of the Argentine Federation of Business Entities of Freight Forwarding (FADEEAC), carried out between June 15 and 25, Tierra del Fuego is the only province in which cargo carriers had no problems loading fuel. Based on more than 1,200 responses processed, FADEEAC formed a virtual traffic light that accounts for the situation that each of the country’s districts are going through. According to the report, 16 are in red, that is, they register very low or no supply at service stations. These are Buenos Aires, CABA, Entre Ríos, Corrientes, Misiones, Santa Fe, Córdoba, Tucumán, Salta, Jujuy, Chaco, Formosa, San Juan, Mendoza, La Rioja and La Pampa.

San Luis, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero and Santa Cruz, meanwhile, are in orange, a color that identifies the provinces where the average supply is 20 liters per unit. Neuquén and Río Negro, on the other hand, are in yellow -places where between 51 and 100 liters are loaded- and Tierra del Fuego and Chubut, in green, although in the latter load quotas of between 51 and 100 liters per unit were verified. ” In the pandemic we were considered essential, now we feel ignored. Since last year we have been dealing with difficulties to access various supplies – tires, spare parts for trucks and even to access new units – but without fuel our activity is unviable, “warned Roberto Guarnieri, president of FADEEAC. “That is why,” he said, “we insist on asking the Government to convene us to integrate working groups in search of solutions.” In this context, the Federation submitted a series of proposals to the Ministries of Productive Development, Economy and Transport:
Guarantee the supply of the primary input, diesel, for the mobility of the units, contemplating as a priority, the maintenance of the transport service in general, vital for the distribution of goods and the productive chain.
Reduction of 100% of Employer Contributions for 180 days (extendable for 180 more), applicable exclusively to employers within the activity of transporting loads by road.
Calculation of 100% of the ICL (Tax on Liquid Fuels) and DC (Carbon Dioxide) as payment on account of the Value Added Tax, Income Tax and its advances (applicable exclusively to natural and legal persons of the activity of transport of loads by road).
Suspension for 180 days of AFIP tax executions (extendable for 180 more days) applicable exclusively to natural and legal persons of the activity of transport of loads by road.
