Bodies of two women and a man found in cistern in Chilpancingo, Guerrero

The bodies of two women and a man were located in a cistern in the Indeco neighborhood, in Chilpancingo, Guerrero.
The Guerrero prosecutor’s office reported that Expert Services personnel went to the scene to collect samples and make opinions to determine the genetic profile and identify the victims.
He added that the finding is the result of the intelligence work of the state prosecutor’s office, through the Prosecutor’s Office specialized in the matter of forced disappearance and search for disappeared persons.

The bodies were located in a house, located on Ometepec Street, Indeco neighborhood, according to the newspaper Reforma.

In recent months, Guerrero has been the scene of other violent acts against women. On 18 June, armed men shot dead a woman and her minor daughter, who were travelling in a van on the Pinotepa Nacional-Cuajinicuilapa federal highway.
On April 9, Frida Alondra, 13, left her home in Cuajinicuilapa to go to the neighboring town of San Juan Bautista Lo de Soto, in Oaxaca, and disappeared on the way; she was found murdered on a dirt road in the community of San Juan Bautista Lo de Soto.
From January to May 2022, Guerrero registered 782 homicides and 4 femicides in the state, according to figures from the monthly report of the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP).
