They robbed a school in Trelew: they took several appliances and food

A group of thieves entered a school in the Chubutense city of Trelew this weekend and stole several appliances, a refrigerator and even a water tank. Investigators believe they entered the school through one of the kitchen windows. It is School No. 174 in the Abel Amaya neighborhood of the aforementioned city of Chubut. According to the hypothesis of the police, the thieves would have committed the assault between 5 p.m. on Friday (the time the school closed) and Monday at 9 a.m., the day on which an administrative employee reported the fact. As reported by the local media Diario Jornada, it could be established that in order to enter the educational establishment, the criminals damaged the fence and the glass that overlooks the school kitchen.

Once on site, they seized a refrigerator, a microwave, an electric kettle, a multiprocessor, a cold cutter, groceries, hand tools and a 1100-liter water tank. In addition, it was learned that the criminals damaged an entrance door to a warehouse that is inside the kitchen from where they stole pots and food intended for the students of the institution. The deputy director of School 174 “Cacique Casimiro Bigua”, admitted yesterday in journalistic statements she made to a local radio that as a result of the fact “about 300 students could be left without the dining room”. The local media Crónica reported that in the neighborhood circulate the names of the thieves who robbed the school, however, in the police they assure that they do not have data or concrete clues of the authors of the robbery.
