An investigation by Customs, certain companies resorted to the Justice to obtain precautionary measures, which then “rented” them to other firms. In this way, a firm obtained a court order against the AFIP to be able to enter merchandise and release dollars from the Central Bank, and then, it transferred them to another importer. Faced with this situation, Customs discovered the maneuver that resulted in a criminal complaint and a fine. It is suspected that there would be many similar cases.
